Two shots today - poor thing knows what's going on now. Right when I laid him down on the table, he screamed :( How sad. The nurse gave him one shot in each leg, which I thought was cumbersome. Don't you think it'd be less effort to hold down one leg instead of two? I wish we could always have the nurse we saw last month. She was sweet, helpful and FAST! I don't like that we see a new nurse at every visit. It bugs me more than anything. I don't like not knowing what type of nurse we're getting that day.
In other news, we had a very laid back weekend. It was nice. We did some yard work (actually, Jason did) and I cleaned the house. Went for a ton of walks and played outside. We had a b-day party on Sunday. That was pretty much it. Relaxing!!!
I officially quit my job today. I talked to my boss and told him that I wasn't coming back. It was a bittersweet conversation. I love my job but I love Bret more. Hopefully, when I'm ready to go back, there will be a position available for me. If not, then I'll just reinvent myself and do something else or maybe get another degree. God knows that I LOVE taking classes.
Jason and I were talking about when we're going to start trying for our second. That was a semi-strange conversation. Too technical for me. At the time, I didn't like having Bret in November b/c after I was given the OK to workout again, it was the middle of winter and I felt blah. But now that Bret is almost 7 months and the weather is nice, I think it was worth it. I can't imagine being couped up in the house w/ a newborn. Anyway, we're thinking about trying at the end of this year. That'll give about 2 years in between the rug rats. Sounds good to me!! We'll see how it goes.

Love the sunglasses - please tell me he's going to bring them to Houghton.
Ditto to Alanna, the sunglasses are adoreable.
Not totally sure, but I think that they give shots in different legs so that the little knots that they can get at the injection site are not on the same leg and super sore, and if they have any allergic reactions, then they know for sure which vaccine it was.
Yay for baby #2 talk! We might be preggo around the same time, we plan to start trying this fall sometime:)
such a cutie. great pictures!
trivia: they do the shots in different legs to make sure that if he has a reaction, they'll know which shot did it. AJs a smart chick. :)
miss you girl. :) take care and give bret a hug for me.
